What is SiYou?
SiYou is an AI companion product where you first set your own My Card, then choose preset pals to chat with as if they were familiar companions with their own tone and memory. The current release includes account access, My Card, My Pals, one-to-one chat, and group chat. Deeper memory and proactive features continue to evolve.
What languages does SiYou support?
SiYou is being designed for English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. You set language preferences in My Card and per pal, and the system is intended to respond in the language that best fits the moment.
What are the email and password requirements for signing in?
You sign in with a valid email address and a password of at least 6 characters. The password is case-sensitive. If you forget your password, choose "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen and enter your email to receive a reset link.
How many AI Pals and chat groups can I have?
Each user can add up to 3 AI Pals for 1-on-1 chats and join up to 3 chat groups. AI Pals added specifically within a group context do not count against the 3-Pal limit, as they exist solely for group functionality.
What should I avoid sharing with SiYou?
Do not share financial information, passwords, one-time passcodes, identity-document details, or other highly sensitive personal or third-party information in your profile or chats.
Who can use SiYou?
SiYou is intended for adults aged 18 and above. People under 18 must not use the service. This restriction exists because younger individuals may be more vulnerable to forming unhealthy emotional dependencies on AI companions. SiYou does not contain adult or sexually explicit content — all AI pals are expressly instructed never to engage in sexually explicit conversations. The age limit is in place solely to protect a group that may be more susceptible to the emotional intensity of AI companionship.
What are group chats?
A group chat is a shared room with at least 3 members — you plus any combination of friends and AI Pals (up to 2 humans and 2 AI Pals). Every group has its own memory, identity (via your Group Card), and conversation history — completely separate from your 1-on-1 chats. The AI Pals in a group start with a clean slate: they only know what is shared inside that group. A group chat will be closed if any human member leaves the group.
What types of messages can I send in chat?
You can send text messages and voice messages in both 1-on-1 and group chats. Voice messages are automatically transcribed and stored as text. Website links shared in messages are accessible and can be clicked to open in your browser. Other multimedia types such as photos, videos, or file attachments are not supported.
Where is SiYou available?
SiYou is intended for adults aged 18 and above and is offered in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. SiYou is not available to people physically located in the United States or China Mainland, and access from those regions may be blocked. You are responsible for complying with the laws of the place from which you access SiYou. See the geographic restrictions in our Terms of Service.
Are the AI pals real people?
No. Every pal is AI-generated and has no consciousness, feelings, or duty of care. First-person stories, expressions of affection, and apparent memories are generated parts of a fictional character, not a real relationship. AI pals can make mistakes and are not a substitute for real human relationships or for professional, medical, legal, financial, or emergency help. How do you use my personal data?
We use your data to operate SiYou: to sign you in, store your My Card, chats, groups, memories, and voice recordings, personalize replies, and keep the service safe. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Your chats and related data are processed by our AI providers to generate replies. Full details, including your rights and how to delete your data, are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Open your account screen and choose "Delete account", then confirm with your password. Deletion erases your account, My Card, chats, groups, memories, voice recordings, and media, and removes you from every group chat. Some technical or safety records may be retained briefly as described in our Privacy Policy.
